You
walk into a sacred environment here at
Art Iza Way where you are welcome to explore your
inner world and freely express it without judgement. We don’t
compare or critique the art or music, and we are not training to
become professional artists or musicians. We are interested in
reclaiming the basic wonder of the creative process and allowing
it to be a practice of meditation and contemplation.
Our
classes and programs are simple and fun. They will inspire you,
and remind you of your greatness. You will be encouraged to
stretch beyond any limiting notions about art and music, and
allow the creative process to connect you to a deeper part of
yourself, the unconditional loving presence that is your
essential nature.
My name is
Mitch Rosacker and it is my great pleasure to be the owner of
Art Iza Way. It is a dream
come true to have this beautiful place where we can explore who
we are and celebrate the wonders of life through the creative
process.
I was previously an engineer on the Space Shuttle program at the
Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida. I retired in
1992 and returned home to Colorado. I earned a Bachelor of Fine
Arts degree from the University of Denver in 1996. I earned a
Master of Arts degree in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology and
Art Therapy from Naropa University in 2001.
I pursued this training because I have always loved the creative
process and I am passionate about exploring its potential as a
way to experience the inner vibration of our True Self. I am
passionate because I have experienced it myself.
I truly believe that the creative process can be a practice of
spiritual awareness, and I now choose to offer my services to
others as we continue this exploration together. It is an inner
journey into the Unified Field of Creativity that pulsates
within each of us – connecting us all in an unconditionally
loving field of pure potential.
My name is Susan Hess and I am so pleased to be able to offer
you the Vital Music program at
Art Iza Way. Mitch Rosacker is my dear friend and
it is an honor to be able to work with him in such a wonderful
and spiritual place.
I have always played instruments and listened to music as a way
to center and tune into my True Self. I decided not to pursue
music as a career in my earlier years, as I wanted to keep it
fresh and wild, as a secret and special part of my life. So, I
followed my interest in people and cultures and received a
Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology and Fine Arts from the
University of Colorado in 1974.
As I changed and grew over the years, my interests in art, music
and people continued to develop and evolved into a passion for
the creative process and the healing power of music and sound.
This led me back to school and Naropa University, where I earned
a Master of Arts degree in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology
and Music Therapy in 1998, and subsequently became licensed as a
professional counselor and board-certified as a music therapist.
Now I know that music is truly a key force for the exploration
of deep inner wisdom, for the expansion of consciousness and for
resonance with the divine. I enthusiastically offer my services
at
Art Iza Way in order that we can experience this
together, these most profound and amazing avenues to spiritual
awakening — the perfection of sound and the essence of musical
vibration.
